Visiting performer, Stu Duval, children's story book author and illustrator.

An S, two dots, a prickle and a line...
See if your child can draw you a cartoon character out of this!

This is what maths looked like today!

Miller and Care Bear!

Care Bear is helping Miller decorate cookies. I hope he didn't sneak too many of those smarties, Miller!

Uh oh!! Those Smarties are getting dangerously close to Care Bear's mouth!
Miller looks like a cookie icing expert!

Care Bear is helping blow up balloons for Miller's Mum's birthday!

Catching up with old buddies! Mason knows Care Bear from last year.
Did Care Bear enjoy hanging out with Mason's bear, Miller?

Swim for Life, with Rhonda.

Breaststroke back to the end.

Kicking on our backs to the far end.

We could lie back with our heads lying on our puffy collars.

We made a line. If we were at sea, this would help us to stay together and move safely as a group.

We made a huddle.

A huddle would keep us together and warm, if we were out at sea.

Huddle, huddle!

Floating, no kicking.

Rhonda put us into the pool backwards!

And we floated, thanks to our life jackets!

We crossed our arms over our chest...

... and in we went!

We used our arms to move in the water.

First volunteer!

Ready to hop in with our life jackets all safely fitted.

We learnt how to select the right sized life jacket and how to adjust it and put it securely on.

Wyatt and his Chickens!

Wyatt, you look so proud of your little chickens! I like the way you are handling your chick so carefully.

So cute and fluffy! Do they have names? I wonder if Super Six can guess what breed they are? (Hint: not Angus).

Thursday 16 February 2017

On Friday mornings, we do a bit of boogie in Super Six! We have fun and silly songs, and if you think your little person doesn't like a bit of boogie... think again! We ALL get into it!!!!!

Touch backside to backside (sooo funny!)

Touch ear to ear...

Ear to ear. What can you hear?

Wave to your partner...

Touch elbows to elbows...

Touch thumbs to thumbs...

Touch chin to chin (also very funny!...

Touch hip to hip. Now the other hip - swing round!

Touch palms to palms...

... and boogie!!!

Touch hands to hands...

... feet to feet...

...wrists to wrists...

...back to back...

... and elbow to elbow... now boogie!!!
